Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Yojo account ("we," "our," or "us") and the personal data associated with it. Your account is identified by the phone number you registered with. You can delete your account directly inside the Yojo app, or request deletion from us if you no longer have the app installed.
1. Delete your account from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from within the Yojo app:
- Open the Yojo app and sign in with your registered phone number
- Go to Settings
- Select Delete Account and confirm
We recommend exporting any data you want to keep before you delete your account.
2. Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, you can ask us to delete your account and data. Contact us from the phone number or identity associated with your account so we can verify ownership before deleting:

We verify that the request comes from the account owner before processing any deletion.
3. What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data linked to it, including:
- Account and profile information (name, phone number, email, password)
- Business information (company name, role, location)
- Construction sites and project data
- Worker and team member records
- Attendance records and time-tracking data
- Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and task data
- Photos and documents you uploaded
- Cashbook, payment, and billing records
- Support communications and feedback
4. What we may retain
In limited cases we may retain certain information after deletion:
- Records we are required to keep for legal, tax, financial, or fraud-prevention purposes — kept only for as long as the law requires, then securely deleted or anonymized
- Aggregated or anonymized analytics that can no longer be used to identify you
5. Deletion timeline
Once a deletion request is confirmed, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days, except for the limited records described above. Deletion is irreversible — once your data has been removed, it cannot be recovered. We recommend exporting your data before requesting deletion.
